I started Learn Shibari in 2018 out of a simple frustration: good Shibari knowledge and quality rope were both hard to find, and practitioners deserved better than what was out there.

What began as tutorials shared through Patreon and educational material for my students scattered around the world soon grew into something much larger: custom-dyed ropes supplied to rope communities worldwide, alongside teaching shaped by over a decade of studying under some of the world's leading Shibari masters. That same work has taken me to prestigious stages like the Palais Garnier, brought my rope into Shakira's "Copa Vacía" music video, and led me to headline major Shibari festivals while touring internationally to teach and perform.

The mission hasn't changed since day one: real quality, real teaching, and material that respects what this practice actually asks of the people who study it.
