This website (learnshibari.com) is operated by Pauline Massimo ("we," "us"), based at Passatge de Sant Benet, 6, Barcelona, Spain. You can reach us at learnshibari (@) gmail (dot) com for anything related to this policy or your personal data.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this site, browsing, buying rope, booking or submitting a coaching session, or subscribing to our newsletter, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and Digital Rights Guarantee (LOPDGDD).

What we collect, and why

• Contact form submissions, name and email, to respond to your message.

• Orders and payments, name, shipping address, and payment details (processed securely by our payment provider, we do not store your full card details ourselves), to fulfil your order.

• Coaching bookings ,your name, email, and any scheduling details, to arrange and deliver your session.

• Coaching video submissions, video files and any accompanying notes you submit for review, used solely to provide your requested feedback. See "Sensitive content" below for how this is handled specifically.

• Newsletter sign-ups, your email address, used only to send the newsletter, until you unsubscribe.

• Cookies and basic analytics, see "Cookies" below.

We only collect what's needed to provide the service you've asked for, and we don't sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Sensitive content, coaching video submissions

We recognise that video submitted for coaching review may be personal and sensitive. In addition to the consent and content terms already described on our coaching pages:

• Submitted videos are reviewed only by the instructor assigned to your session and are not shared with anyone else without your explicit, separate consent.

• They are hosted up to 30 days in case you want to revisit in another session or if the file sent has issues we can resend again and they are completly deleted with no copies physically or on the cloud after the 30 days period of sending a feedback response.

• You may request deletion of your submitted video at any time by contacting us — see "Your rights" below.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this site and deliver our services, including:

• Wix, our website hosting and e-commerce platform

• Paypal and Stripe,  to process payments securely

• Video conferencing provider by Zoom,  to host live coaching sessions

• Wix email marketing,  to send the newsletter

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (for example, US-based providers). Where this happens, we rely on the provider's own GDPR-compliant safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

We do not sell your personal data, and we only share it with these providers to the extent needed to run the service you've used.

Cookies

This website uses cookies, small files stored on your device, to support core site functionality (like your shopping cart) and to understand how the site is used.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, for example, order records are kept as required by Spanish tax law, and newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Rectify inaccurate data

• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")

• Restrict or object to certain processing

• Port your data to another provider, where technically feasible

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with Spain's data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) — www.aepd.es.

This site and its content are intended for users aged 18 and older. By using this site or purchasing our products or services, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example, as our services change or as required by law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

Governing law

This policy is governed by Spanish law. If you're a consumer based in the EU, you retain the right to bring a claim in the courts of your own place of residence, in line with EU consumer protection rules.
