Workshop suitable for all levels tying and bodies being tied. Some exercises with ropes can be advanced but easily adapted to beginners tying.

Yep, you guessed it. This is a whole class of very hot, super sexy, downright steamy partial suspensions. Get ready for some thigh spreading, booty lifting, crotch roping, and perhaps drool-inducing shapes, all in close proximity to the floor.

Hands-on and tutorial style, not to follow along.

Requisites:

Rigger prerequisites: any single and double column tie, basic frictions, some experience building suspendable harnesses, ability to build and manage multiple uplines in static suspension, confidence in rope communication skills, knowledge of safety and risk in rope

Bottom prerequisites: confidence in rope communication skills, knowledge of safety and risk in rope, possible injuries and how they happen, early signs of injuries (nerve or others), and how to mitigate those injuries and risks, etc.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT to tie above your level and hurry into steps that you are not comfortable executing.

Bio: 

Sydona is a Brooklyn-based rope artist, movement practitioner, and photographer who uses her experience in classical dance to inspire her ventures into experimental and experiential art of all forms. She was first introduced to the New York kink scene in 2018 and has been deepening her practice as a rope performer, educator, and facilitator ever since. She's committed to creating safer, more inclusive, more accessible, and more educational kink spaces for the sake of more rope joy.

Materials:

• You will need your own ropes and safety cutting tools.

• You will need a full kit for suspension, preferably a ring/carabiners

We offer a sliding scale from Early Bird pricing to regular and late bird. We recommend you buy your tickets early to get a discounted rate.
