When buying a ticket for this class you will have access to the live class and class recording.

This Shibari Intro is suitable for anyone who has never done Shibari before or feels like it needs a review to reaffirm the base knowledge and skills.

What you will learn:

• Brief history of Shibari

• Communication and skills for consent in Shibari (overview)

• Safety keys to minimize accidents and damages to everyone involved.

• Anatomy of the tied-up body and how to recognize common risk signs.

• Introduction to basic ties: knots and frictions from basic to complex

• Single-column tie and double-column tie, how to do them efficiently.

• Flow exercises and body handling examples

All the practical exercises will be shown in a variety of ways. Those examples are for practice to help improve the technical skills and understanding of the technique explained.

For who:

This class is ideal for anyone who wants to learn Shibari from its basic concepts.

The content and exercises shown are suitable for both partnered people and individuals.

Requisites:

No requisites to attend this class.

Combination:

This Shibari Intro is a shortened version of a full complete course. We recommend you attend this class together with the Friction Study (29th June) to have a more complete program of study.

We offer a package with a discounted price if you join both classes.

Materials:

• You will need your own ropes (minimum 2) and safety cutting tools. Ropes should be made of jute or hemp, from 7 to 8 meters long and from 5 to 6 millimeters thick.

• Something to make notes.
