Pauline Massimo will show their latest creations that they have been working on in the past years, a signature style of tying that represents their unique experiments. Learn how to tie a multitude of harnesses by understanding how it works the engineering behind this tying technique.
This style is characterized by feeling like one of the most comfortable harnesses out there but is also very versatile for riggers and models to play with. You just need enough ropes and play with it. It's a very forgiving harness for more new tying riggers and suitable for all types of bodies. Especially for models who do not tolerate too much pain and pressure on their bodies or just want to feel cozy and tied up.
Some of those ties are suitable for self-tying folks, except the harnesses that include the arms in.
What you will learn:
• Introduction to the style and basic techniques
• Step-by-step of the engineering style to construct the Massimo harness style
• Demo of how to apply this technique to different parts of the body and create more unique harnesses.
• Safety points about this technique and risks to be aware of for both models and riggers.
• How to attach the upline depending on where you tied it.
• Tips and tricks on how to improve your tying technique with this style.
Requisites:
• As a rigger you must know how to tie a single and double column tie, know to do basic frictions and some complex frictions such as X, half moon frictions, know to do a half hitch and other useful frictions. Understand the difference between blood circulation sensations and nerve compression sensations and how to mitigate those risks of injury and help their models to communicate and collaborate properly to lower the risks.
•Models should have minimum experience being tied up and be able to understand the difference between blood circulation sensations and nerve compression sensations and how to mitigate those risks of injury and communicate them properly to their riggers.
• Self tying people should have enough experience and know the above listed for both riggers and models knowledges and awareness applied to their own self tying role.
• You will need your own ropes and safety cutting tools.
• You will need as much ropes as possible, relatively most harnesses takes 2 to 3 ropes to tie with, more it will depends of how maximalist you want to get and the size of your models / ratio of the size of the ropes in total. We recommend ropes betwee 7,5 m to 8 m, longer is exceptionally welcome from 9 m to 10 m.
More info:
• Class recording will be available for 15 days after it's post-produced and sent out via email. Make sure your email is correct.
• Only Pauline's camera will be recorded.
• This class is not intended to be followed along but we recommend attending live to ask questions and more info requests.
