Asymmetric ties and bamboo - Pauline Massimo

When buying a ticket for this class you will have access to the live class and class recording.

Workshop suitable for all levels above beginners, difficulties, and complexities will be shown progressively to suit intermediate to more advanced participants.

Get a bit deeper into one of Pauline's most original asymmetric ties and how they can be super fun and playful with the combinations of smaller bamboo(s) on the body. Learn how to tie harnesses and adapt them to each body and preferences and how to make a session more playful by introducing bamboo.

Programm:

-Multiple harnesses demonstrations & uplines anchoring demo

-Introduce bamboo to play with asymmetries

-Safety and anatomy

-Feedback, suggestions, tips, answer questions

Requisites:

• Enough experience in tying harnesses and minimum knowledge of up-lines for suspensions for both models, riggers/self-tying will be suitable for the partial suspensions and basic static suspensions. Having solidly practiced single column and double column ties in different parts of the body besides ankles and wrists, as well as knowing how to tie and understand basic counter-tension frictions, applying balanced rope tension on the body and complex frictions such as X, L or half moon frictions. Understand general safety and anatomy risks related to Shibari paying, for all roles involved.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT to tie above your level and hurry into steps that you are not comfortable executing.

• You will need your own ropes and safety cutting tools.

• You will probably need at least 2 ropes per harness tied, plus one rope for the bamboos. We recommend ropes between 7,5 m to 8 m, longer is exceptionally welcome from 9 m to 10 m.

• You will need slim bamboo for this specific part of the class. If you do not have bamboo, a cylindric piece of wood should be fine too
